The Indiana DNR and well drillers throughout the state have compiled data on over 400,000 wells. You may be able to use this map to gain insight into the water tables in your area or to uncover information about an existing well on your property.
To access the Water Well Viewer App, click the link: Here
- Click on the green, water well viewer map app icon
- Zoom in and find your location and click on a nearby icon
- A box will pop up, open the detailed report to see the statistics on that well
The Indiana DNR also maintains a list of businesses and individuals whom are appropriately licensed for well drilling and pump installation and legally allowed to perform work on those items within the state of Indiana.
