About Us

Hamm Well Drilling is a privately owned and operated business that was founded in
1977 by the father and son duo of Avery Hamm and Rick Hamm. Prior to starting his own
business Avery operated a cable tool rig at Brown Well Drilling for 17 years. When his son Rick finished school the two went into business together and started the process of growing and expanding the business.

Avery and Rick quickly earned a reputation of excellent service and ingenious solutions.
By the late 80’s the business had grown substantially and new technology was required to meet the demand. In 1989 Rick purchased the business’s first rotary drilling rig and production capacity tripled to meet the rising number of new homes and businesses in Indiana. Today, Hamm Well Drilling continues to be a well-established and respected figure in the Indiana well drilling industry.

completed professionally. We only use high quality products from reputable, commercial dealers in order to provide a reliable water system for our customers.
